Romans 1:18-32 (NET)
1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of people who suppress the truth by their unrighteousness, 1:19 because what can be known about God is plain to them; because God has made it plain to them.
1:20 For since the creation of the world his invisible attributes—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, because they are understood through what has been made. So people are without excuse.
1:21 For although they knew God, they did not glorify him as God or give him thanks, but they became futile in their thoughts and their senseless hearts were darkened. 1:22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 1:23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for an image resembling a mortal human being and birds and four-footed animals and reptiles.
1:24 Therefore God gave them over in the desires of their hearts to impurity, to dishonor their bodies among themselves. 1:25 They exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshiped and served the creation rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.
1:26 For this reason God gave them over to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged the natural sexual relations for unnatural ones, 1:27 and likewise the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed in their passions for one another. Men committed shameless acts with men and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.
1:28 And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what should not be done. 1:29 They are filled with every kind of unrighteousness, wickedness, covetousness, malice. They are rife with envy, murder, strife, deceit, hostility. They are gossips, 1:30 slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, contrivers of all sorts of evil, disobedient to parents, 1:31 senseless, covenant-breakers, heartless, ruthless.
1:32 Although they fully know God’s righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but also approve of those who practice them.

Why We Worry
The reason why we worry is that we think that we can solve our own problems using our own human ways.
Bring all your troubles to God and let him take the lead and He will show you the way.
Pray: I do not know how to solve this, God please help me to get through this.
In times of storm and struggle, you get tired, frustrated, worried, stomach gets twisted because you not sure how best you can get through it.
Matthew 6:25
25 ‘Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
If you bring all these to Him, and sincerely And faithfully believe in Him And that He will go through with you all good and bad times. Then you will always sail through the storm with ease with Him. Even when it is not easy, YOU have peace in your heart and body.

Chasing After God
When we chase after God, all else that we think we need will follow.
There is nothing more important than having our frequent connections with Him.
In fact, these are the moments that really energizes us from the world, earth and people.
I look forward to these 'moments' always.
:)
Enjoy your moments.

Our Lives Are Open Books
The Bible uses the term "light" on many different occasions.
In Matthew 5:14-16, Jesus used the illustration of light to challenge and remind Christians that their lives are open books.
Jesus said, "You are the light of the world. . . Don't hide your light. . . Let it shine for all to see. . . so that everyone will praise your heavenly father."
Being a light to the world is a high calling! It's pretty wild to realize that you may be the only Christian your friends will ever meet.
Are you shining brightly? If not, what are a few things you could do to become a stronger light for God?

The Net
The Parable of the Net
Matthew 13:47-52
47 “Once again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that was let down into the lake and caught all kinds of fish. 48 When it was full, the fishermen pulled it up on the shore. Then they sat down and collected the good fish in baskets, but threw the bad away. 49 This is how it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous 50 and throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
51 “Have you understood all these things?” Jesus asked.
“Yes,” they replied.
52 He said to them, “Therefore every teacher of the law who has become a disciple in the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom new treasures as well as old.”

Win Or Lose
During the 2009 football season, University of Texas quarterback Colt McCoy began every post-game interview by thanking God for the opportunity to play. When he was injured early in the national championship game, he was forced to watch from the sidelines as his team lost.
After the game, he told a television reporter, "I'd have given everything I have to be out there with my team... I always give God the glory. I never question why things happen the way they do. God is in control of my life and I know that if nothing else, I'm standing on the Rock."
The apostle Paul experienced God's deliverance many times, but he didn't insist on things going his way. From prison in Rome he wrote to Timothy: "I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand" (2 Tim.4:6). Some might say that Paul had failed to accomplish his goals and that his life was ending in defeat. But he saw it differently: "I have kept the faith" (v.7). He looked forward to an eternal crown (v.8).
As we walk with God, we can praise Him for His faithfulness- David McCasland.
I can always count on God, my heavenly Father,
For He changes not; He always is the same.
Yesterday, today, forever, He is faithful,
And I know He loves me, praise His holy name! -Felten

God's Love and Ours
1 John 4:7-21 (New International Version)
Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.
God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
We love because he first loved us. Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.
Let us thank God for putting precious people in our Lives. May we treasure, cherish and love one another always! :)

Don't Follow Blindly
Don't follow the behaviour and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

A Life Of Integrity
As I am typing this, I am struggling to keep awake. But I decided to use this ten minutes to share God's words.
When you live a life of integrity, when you have a spirit of excellence, giving, serving and treating people right, God's blessings will chase you down and overtake you. You cannot outrun the good things of God when you do your best to please Him.
The greatest among you must be a servant. But those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.

Protect Me From Evil Man
Psalm 140:1-8
1 Deliver me, O Lord, from the evil man, 2 who plan evil things in their heart; they continually gather together for war. 3 They sharpen their tongues like a serpent; the poison of asps is under their lips.
4 Keep me, O Lord, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from the violent man; who have purposed to make my steps stumble.
5 The proud have hidden a snare for me, and cords; they have spread a net by the wayside ; they have set traps for me.
6 I said unto the Lord, You are my God: hear the voice of my supplications, O Lord.
7 O God the Lord, the strength of my salvation, you have covered my head in the day of battle. 8 Do not grant, O Lord, the desires of the wicked: do not further his wicked scheme; lest they be exalted.

Sexual Immorality
Hebrews 12:16-17 (New International Version)
16 See that no one is sexually immoral, or is godless like Esau, who for a single meal sold his inheritance rights as the oldest son. 17 Afterward, as you know, when he wanted to inherit this blessing, he was rejected. Even though he sought the blessing with tears, he could not change what he had done."

Serve God With Reverence and Godly Fear

Pursue Peace With All People
I am reading from the Gideons International in Japan.
After reading, then i realised it is actually Hebrews Chapter 12, which definitely i have read before. But somehow because of the translation, the words formed and put together when read were rather refreshing.
Allow me to share with you Hebrews 12:14"14 Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.

There Is None Like You
I really haven't written in a long time. . .
Want to share my always number one song in my heart: There Is None Like You.
Though i havent written for the longest time, God has always been with me. Following me where ever i go. He is with me in the morning when i have difficulty waking up. He is with me in the afternoon, when i am hungry for a meal. He is with me when i am having a great time with friends and family. He is with me when i am working. He is with me even when i am in my bed.
He is constantly with me even though i haven't written anything for a long time. Everyday he speaks to me through reading his words, just that i didnt pen it down to share.
Just as what the title of the song: There Is None Like You.
There wouldn't be another one or person that is Like Him. Who loves you who you are. Who loves you unconditionally. Who loves you and takes care of you even when you forget Him, reject Him, abandon Him. He is always in a corner; with you. Even thought sometimes you may not realised it.
"There is none like you, no one else can touch my heart like you do." Given all the efforts of mankind and years of love putting into touching my heart, no one else can touch my heart like He did.
This song speaks to me more than anything in the world. "There is none like you, no one else can touch my heart like you do, i could search for eternity long and find there is none like you."

Fear And Faith; Both Is Contagious
Just as you can be talked into having a bad year, you can be talked into having a great year.
Yes, fear is contagious, but the good news is, faith is even more contagious. Victory is viral! Joy spreads like the flu bug! That's why it's so important to get around other positive poeple of faith on a regular basis.
So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing. 1 Thessalonians 5:11 (NLT)

Your Life Matters
Have you ever wondered what God thinks about or what is on His mind about you?
It says in the Psalms that God is mindful of us-His creation.
That means God is constantly thinking about you. Many people think God is looking down on them, waiting for them to mess up. They say things like, "If I walk into that church, the roof will cave in!" But God's not thinking about your mistakes, failures or shortcomings. No, His thoughts toward you are good. He's not thinking about what you did wrong; He's thinking about what you did right. He's not thinking about how far you have to go; He's thinking about how far you've come.
Know today that God approves of you. He's pleased with you. He may not always be pleased with your choices or some of the things you do, but when God looks at you, He sees His amazing creation. You are His masterpiece, and He's looking at you through His loving and gracious eyes.
You matter to God and every detail of your life matters to Him. Scripture says that He counts every hair on your head and bottles every tear that you've cried. You are significant, and your life is significant.
In this day and age, people are considered to be important for so many different reasons—titles, positions, possessions, where you go, what you drive. But God's value system is very different. If you've ever thought that God has too many other "important" things on His plate to be concerned about you and your life, know this today: You are God's number one priority. And there's nothing you can do to be more important or less important to Him.
God values you simply because He created you. You are precious to Him, and your value will never change.
How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can't even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! (Psalm 139:17–18 NLT)

Just Stay In Faith And Keep Being Your Best
My friend, God has great things already arranged for you. He's already released them into your future. You may not be able to see it. You may not be able to figure it out. That's okay. Just stay in faith and keep being your best, and you' ll be amazed at what you walk into.

God would not have allowed me to go through difficult times if He didn't have a purpose for them. He wouldn't have allowed adversity to come if He didn't already have a plan for good to come of it.

Teach Me Your Way, O Lord
Teach me your way, O Lord;
lead me in a straight path
because of my oppressors.
Do not hand me over to the desire of my foes,
for false witnesses rise up against me,
breathing out violence.
I am still confident of this:
I will see goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living.
Wait for the Lord;
be stong and take heart
and wait for the Lord.

Surrogate Spirituality
Some of us have tried to have a daily quiet time and have not been successful. Others of us have a hard time concentrating. And all of us are busy. So rather than spend time with God, listening for his voice, we'll let others spend time with him and then benefit from their experience.
Let them tell us what God is saying. After all, isn't that why we pay preachers? Isn't that why we read Christian books? These folks are good at daily devotions. I'll just learn from them.
If that is your approach, if your spiritual experiences are secondhand and not firsthand, I'd like to challenge you with this thought: Do you do that with other parts of your life? I don't think so.
You don't do that with vacations. You don't say, "Vacations are such a hassle, packing bags and travelling. I'm going to send someone on vacation for me. When he returns, I'll hear all about it and be spared all the inconvenience." Would you do that? No! You want the experience firsthand. Certain things no one can do for you.
You don't do that with romance. You don't say, I'm in love with that wonderful person, but romance is such a hassle. I'm going to hire a surrogate lover to enjoy the romance in my place. I'll hear all about it and be spared the inconvenience."
Who would do that? Perish the thought. You want the romance firsthand. You don't want to miss a word or a date, and you certainly don't want to miss the kiss, right? Certain things no one can do for you.
And one of those is spending time with God.
Listening to God is a firsthand experience. When he asks for your attention, God doesn't want you to send a substitute; he wants you. He invites you to vacation on his splendor. He invites you to feel the touch of his hand. He invites you to feast at his table. He wants to spend time with you.
And with a little training, your time with God can be the highlight of your day. :)

Forgotten About Me?
When you are faced with difficulties that never seem to end, keep reminding yourself, "God has not forgotten about me."

I Want To Thank God For Cell @ Providence Presbyterian Church
In 2009 June, i joined the cell @ Providence Presbyterian Church which we hold our meetings @ ORPC.
I am really glad that I have come to know many wonderful people from this church and that i could be part of the family.
Really like the topics we do in cell, which we can apply to our daily life with God in mind.
I like to thank all who made the cell possible, especially those who put in time to prepare and faciliate the cell.
Thank you for the weekly emails, which updates everyone's prayer request.
Can feel their warmth and kindness, also God's love flowing through them to others.
Want to thank God for putting these loving people in my life.
I hope always to learn more of God's words and gain more wisdom in his teachings. And grow old together with this bunch of loving people.
