SUPERNATURAL YEAR 2011
Finally today, i had time to open up my new Joel Osteen 2011 Calendar. Guess what! On the 1st January, It says, "Now all glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to Him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen." Ephesians 3:20-21 (NLT)
It was exactly what i felt and it was the verus that I had in my mind on the 1st January!!!
So in-tuned! :)
Anyway, the rest of the message is: God knows how to multiply your influence, multiply your strength, multiply your talent, multiply your income. All you have to do is believe. If you will release your faith for a supernatural year- get up each day expecting God's far-and-beyond favor-then you will see God show up and do amazing things in your life.
From: Joel Osteen 2011 Calendar 1 January
Above All That We Ask or Think
God knows what we want before we ask, and he has made provisions for his people before they ask for them; some of which things we never could, and others we never should have asked for, if he had not provided them; and without the Spirit of God we know not what to ask for, nor how to ask aright; this affords great encouragement to go to God, and ask such things of him as we want, and he has provided; and who also can do more than we can think, imagine, or conceive in our minds.
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. Ephesians 3:20

The Year 2010
18, 21, 30
I am sure these numbers mean something to you in your life. These are the years that people normally have a big celebration and hope that they have done something meaningful as they mark another stage in their life. And so when they look back, these special numbers mean 'something' to them.
I am very sure this year would always be important to me than many others. I am glad to have found a church that I have settled in. That was the goal for 2010, and it was accomplished in April. Much earlier than i expected. But nevertheless, I thank God for that. As I believed I will truly grow much in faith and knowledge in this church that He has planted me.
Relationships in the family also have become warmer and closer; give thanks to God who have opened and soften our hearts.
I believed I have grown much in 2010; in the way that 'He' would approved and like it. But certainly, I believed I still have much to grow and we should never, never stop growing and enjoy the improvement process.
This year God has put many new people in my life. I cherish every single friendship and hope our friendship would grow old with us. And I thank you God for the opportunity that I may be part of their lives.
I am sure 2011 would be a Very challenging Year. I pray that God will bless the year ahead and the walk with me. Make me strong, give me courage and strength for 2011.
Also pray for health and a healthy lifestyle and for those around me.
Want to give thanks to God for all the providence, blessings and people He has put in my life this year.
Thank you for making such a Mark in my life with me this year.
I hope from here, half of my life, I would always follow closely your ways. And hope to pass on Your love to many others as You have love me.
Thank you Angels!
What if, for one day, God were to become you?
Your health does not change. Your circumstances do not change. Your schedule isn't altered. Your problems aren't solved. Only one change occurs.
What if, for one day and one night, God lives your life with His heart? Your heart gets the day off, and your life is led by the heart of Christ. His priorities govern your actions. His passions drive your decisions. His love directs your behaviour.
What would you be like? Would people notice a change? Your family- would they see something new? Your coworkers- would they sense a difference? What about the less fortunate? Would you treat them the same? And your friends? Would they detect more joy? How about your enemies? Would they receive more mercy from Christ's heart than from yours?
And you? How would you feel? What alterations would this transplant have on your stress level? Your mood swings? Your temper? Would you sleep better? Would you see Death differently? Taxes differently? Any chance you'd need fewer aspirin? How about your reaction to traffic delays? Would you still dread what you are dreading? Better yet, would you still do what you are doing?
Would you still do what you had planned to do for the next twenty-four hours? Pause and think about your schedule. Oligations. Engagements. Outings. Appointments. With God taking over your heart, would anything change?
Adjust the lens of your imagination until you have a clear picture of God leading your life, then snap the shutter and frame the image. What you see is what God wants. He wants you to "think and act like Christ Jesus" (Phil. 2:5)

Christmas Or Chinese New Year?
Chinese New Year have two days of holidays and eve also to celebrate the festival season with your families and relatives. Time to indulge and dig in the yummy foods. Some got extra cash, whereas others have to give out their cash. A season of great fun, laughter and joy. Also a yearly event to gather around if you do not meet up often.
Christmas is celebrated by many throughout the world. We in singapore are so lucky that we have got nice decorations put up in our Orchard road and shopping malls. With Christmas carols and Christmas trees around, the festival mood really warms my heart.
It is a season of buying and receiving gifts, gatherings and celebrations.
I personally prefer Christmas. As it feels more heart warming somehow. Everyone on the streets is happy. Even if they do not celebrate Christmas, they enjoy the atmosphere around them.
So what Christmas really mean to you? Do you know what is the real meaning behind it? Why there is a celebration for this special day on 25 December?

Aslan to Lucy: “Don’t forget who you are.”
The storyline is similar to “The Matrix” and “Inception” in that it is an allegory -- where the characters enter into another world, another dimension. In that new world or dimension, they are seen as royalty -- as the children entered into the magical world of Narnia, they were treated by the subjects of that kingdom as royal princes and princesses. The lion in that story is a picture of Jesus Christ -- the lion of Judah -- who is mainly working behind the scenes and manifesting Himself to help when they call upon Him.
They learnt to overcome the darkness -- the enemies in that kingdom -- by discovering or learning who they actually are -- their true identity. They were called to be conquerors or champions, and they learnt to accept their unique identity and calling, and not fall for the lies of the enemy that make them feel inadequate by telling them that they must do something in order to become someone they want to be.
Aslan to Lucy: “Don’t forget who you are.”
So yea, the story ended with the children being transported back into the usual world where they came from (the modern world in which we also live) after winning a victory over their enemies (and over their dark side, also known as ‘identity crisis’) in the world of Narnia.
Everything around them back in the “real” world looked the same when they returned, and they also looked the same on the outside appearance, but I believe somehow they had changed on the inside because they had been to another realm and came back, and that journey of adventure would have changed the way they saw themselves and the world around them forever.
Similarly, I was thinking that our whole lives is an allegory -- whenever we spend time immersing ourselves in the gospel of grace and peace and renewing our minds concerning our true identity -- that we are beloved children of God, royal princes and princesses of the kingdom of light, it’s like we are on a journey that takes us into another realm -- and this transformation of our mind is evident in the way we live our lives, when we are “transported back” into this mundane world we call earth.
The above from: http://www.gospelofgraceandpeace.com/2010/12/08/some-thoughts-on-the-movie-the-chronicles-of-narnia-3-the-voyage-of-the-dawn-treader/
It's so hard to describe the transition and relationship between myself, God and the World. (When you are in God; and when you are in the world with the rest of the world) I think the above has said it very well. :) I thought i was weird. But now i see that there are others who feel the same way, when we are in another realm with God.. :)
