Speed Dialing

Do you have God's private cell number? It's Jeremiah 33:3 "Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know." God is always here, and we can always talk to Him. When we call, we're never put on hold. We never get a computerized angel voice telling us to press 1 and then press 4 and so on. We never get a recording or even a bored receptionist. We're directly connected to Him. If he had a desk, our call would ring at that desk. If he had a bedside, our call would ring at His bedside. And God answers the phone 24/7.

In the morning, O Lord, You will hear my voice; in the morning I will order my prayer to You and eagerly watch (Psalm 5:3).

When I remember You on my bed, i mediate on You in the night watches, for You have been my help, and in the shadow of Your wings I sing for joy (Psalm 63:6-7).

What an awesome God! He is always interested in the smallest details in our lives. There is nothing too trivial for Him. If it concerns us, it concerns Him. On our knees, on our feet, on the run.. it doesn't matter. God is a Father who always has time for His kids.
